Other day when S Shankar clarified that VFX companies have promised the final delivery date of the visual effects shots, such that they could announce the release date, fans of Superstar Rajni felt jubilant.
Talk of Kollywood suggests the director going on a compromise mode ever since distributors are running after Lyca Productions to announce the release date of the movie 2 Point O. Owing to pressure from distributors, it is heard that the director has decided to leave out some action sequences that are requiring unlimited time to wrap the visual effects part.
Chopping those sequences mercilessly, he has brought down the runtime of the film down by a huge number, a source says. Though everyone is worried about what kind of effects Shankar is going to show in this "Robo" sequel, the pre-visualisation video they have released cleared all the clouds. Going by that pre-viz look, final output may just stun us like any other Hollywood action film.
Featuring Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson int he leads, 2 Point O is hitting cinemas on November 29th, 2018.
