Did Dasari Slam Chiru and Akkineni ?

Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao, who is known for his outspoken nature, never minces his words in calling spade a spade. He often takes dig at industry. He has done it again. According to his words this time, he has taken potshots at his arch rivals Union Minister for Tourism Chiranjeevi and Akkineni.

Dasari, who graced the book launch of 'My days with Baasha' on Thursday which was penned by director Suresh Krishna, made a few sensational comments. Speaking at the event, the veteran director said, "This book is not just about Rajnikanth. It is about humanity. He is a real superstar and always respects his directors and technicians. Even after turning into super star, Rajni never hides the fact that he has urged me an offer for a film during his early days."

He added, "I've not seen any such star like him. I introduced many of the stars to industry who were nobody once. Today, they're trying to teach me lessons. They're expecting me to stand up and welcome them if they pay a visit. How shame? Every actor, hero and star should read this book and learn from this book."

Rumour mill is that Dasari is hinting about none other than Mega Star Chiranjeevi who is now an active politician. But Chiranjeevi was neither launched by Dasari, nor got a super success break in Dasari directional movie. Same is the case with the other three star heroes Nagarjuna ,Balakrishna and Venkatesh. Dasari alone knows whom he is shooting his hard hitting comments at.

Buzz is that Dasari also slammed the Akkineni clan indirectly referring to a film studio in Hyderabad. Dasari's indirect burning comments on star actors wanting him to stand when they visit is much referred to Akkineni and his comments on a clan for their film studio strengthen these rumors.

He said, "I'm the one who made a barren land into a grassy, productive one. I think I should write a book and should state these facts in it and made them public." He also made it clear that late NTR was the only superstar in the Telugu film industry and MGR, Rajnikanth in Tamil.
