'Mega' Heroine opposite Akhil Akkineni!

Nagarjuna's younger son, Sisindri fame Akkineni Akhil has been undergoing training as an actor. He will be launched as hero next year and Nagarjuna is making big plans for his launch. Meanwhile Akhil is doing few short films to test his skills. His first short film will be out soon.

There is a surprise in store with this short film. Mega brother Nagababu's daughter Niharika Konidela played the female lead in this short film starring Akhil Akkineni as the lead. If the buzz is to be believed, Rajamouli's son Karthikeya directed this short film.

Short film is slowly catching up in India with so many aspiring filmmakers making interesting short films which were a big hit on Youtube. With celeb kids like Akhil and Niharika doing short films, we can expect huge boom in the making of these films.
