Mahesh's producers rope in Nandamuri hero
The wait is finally over. After his 97th film 'Srimannarayana' got mixed response at the marquee, Nandamuri Balakrishna's next film has been confirmed and it has been titled as 'Ruler' as buzzed earlier. And the movie is a political-drama which would go on the floors in coming May.
Guess who would wield the megaphone? It is none other than one of his favourite directors- Boyapati Srinu, who gave a blockbuster 'Simha' with the star.
'Dookudu' trio - Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara - who are currently producing two films with Mahesh one in Sukumar's direction and the other with Srinu Vytla (tentatively titled 'Aagadu'), will produce this film under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
A source from the unit disclosed the news, "Scheduled to release around the general elections in 2014, 'Ruler' will go on the floors from May 15. The film is set against a political backdrop and it has a message as well." However, the lead lady and the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
