Jiah's last day in Hyderabad

The 25-year-old actress who committed suicide had spent her last days in Hyderabad. Jiah,  who was desperate to get a foothold in Tollywood, was in Hyderabad on June 1 and June 2.

Hero Navdeep told a newspaper, 'I just met her on Sunday (June 2) at a Coffee cafe in city before she boarded a flight back to Mumbai. It was just a half an hour discussion and she sounded normal and didn't look frustrated. At the same time, she was not happy too. She said she came for audition of Telugu films and said she would let me know more details about the film only after signing the project. I didn't want to press her for more details.'

He recalled, 'Jiah and I walked the ramp for designer Jaya Mishra of Kolkata in the India Fashion Street Show held in August 2012. And we became friends since then and in touch with her.'

Meanwhile, director Teja revealed, 'I was supposed to cast her for the female lead in my film 1000 Abaddalu. She fits the bill and I contacted her agency in Mumbai. Unfortunately, I came to know that her dates were clashing with her foreign tour. So she couldn't do it.'
