Covid-19: Donald Trump Admitted To Military Hospital

74-year-old US President Donald Trump, who tested positive for Covid-19 along with his wife and first lady Melania Trump, has developed symptoms. According to media reports, Trump developed fever and fatigue. He was flown to military hospital at Bethesda on Friday night. Earlier he was treated at White House where he was injected with an experimental drug combination. Trump’s physician said Trump received a dose of an experimental antibody combination by Regeneron which is still in clinical trials. Navy Commander Dr Sean Conley said Trump “remains fatigued but in good spirits”. Meanwhile, 50-year-old First Lady has “mild cough and headache”.

Trump’s age is a major worrying factor. Also, Trump is reportedly “clinically obese”. However, a team of experts are evaluating both the president and the first lady.

With this, the election campaign of Republican Party has hit a roadblock. The US Presidential elections are due in November. Just a month before the elections, Trump’s health is worrying the republic party. For months, Trump has been ‘ignoring’ the Corona Virus that has struck 7.36 million Americans and killed more than 2,09,000 people in the US.

Meanwhile, Democratic Party’s Presidential Candidate Biden and Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris have been tested negative. Biden said he and his wife sent their thoughts to President Trump and First lady Melania Trump for a swift recovery. “We will continue to pray for the health and safety of the president and his family,” wrote Biden. Several world leaders too wished for the speedy recovery of Donald Trump.
