IPL 2020: Bhuvi Out; Guntur Born Prithviraj In

Dream 11 Indian Premier League witnessed many players returning home due to injuries. Especially, the bad luck is haunting the Sun Risers Hyderabad team. It is Mitchell Marsh who was injured in the first game and was ruled out of the tournament. Now, it is Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who is not going to play the remainder of IPL 2020. Due to hip injury, he is ruled out from the tournament. Interestingly, the Sun Risers Hyderabad management decided to get Andhra Pradesh player Prithvi Raj Yarra on board, in the place of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

The team made an official statement regarding the same today. “Update: Bhuvneshwar Kumar is ruled out of #Dream11IPL 2020 due to injury. We wish him a speedy recovery! Prithvi Raj Yarra will replace Bhuvi for the remainder of the season. #OrangeArmy #KeepRising” read a tweet from the official handle of Sun Risers Hyderabad.

Prithvi Raj Yarra hails from Duggirala of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. Prithviraj Yarra played a single match for Kolkata Knight Riders in the last season. He played only one game and dismissed the dangerous batsman David Warner. He bowled 3 overs and took one wicket for 29 runs. Prithviraj Yarra is a left-hand medium pacer who played 11 first-class matches and 9 list-A matches. He took a total of 54 wickets so far.

It is indeed a great opportunity for the Telugu cricketer and we wish to see him in the playing eleven for the upcoming matches. Sun Risers Hyderabad will play their next game with Kings XI Punjab on 8th October.
