‘Pawan Is Anti-Telangana’, For Opposing TRS?

With the Jana Sena likely to split the TRS votes which in turn would benefit the BJP, the pink party leaders are fuming at the party chief Pawan Kalyan.

Telangana minister Niranjan Reddy termed Pawan’s party as “janam leni sena” (party without cadre) and Pawan as “sainyam leni nayakudu” (leader without followers). He also said that anti-Telangana forces were uniting to destroy the state but exuded confidence that Hyderabadis would extend support to the TRS only in the GHMC elections. He predicted that the TRS would emerge victorious in the polls which are round the corner.

Responding to these remarks, the actor-turned-politician’s fans reminded that Pawan was never an anti-Telangana force and that in the past, he heaped praises on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s able administration. They also said that Pawan always supported leaders who worked for the development of the Telugu states, irrespective of the party affiliation.

The Jana Senanis said that their party had entered into an alliance with the BJP for the GHMC polls and that they would campaign for the BJP candidates which should not be termed as anti-Telangana. The Jana Sena leaders also reminded that their party would be the first to raise voice against injustice and undemocratic rule of any political outfit in both the Telugu states.

With the GHMC polls just a week away, the electioneering by the political parties is getting more intense and voters are watching the leaders with keen interest to take a proper decision before exercising their franchise.
