The heinous crime on minor girl in Dachepalli of Guntur district is condemnable and the 50-yr-old rickshaw puller must be severely punished. However, Opposition YSR Congress has gone ahead and blamed ruling TDP. Politicizing the issue opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged majority culprits are from "TDP" and the state government is not properly bringing them to justice. He further alleged that TDP, Chandrababu Naidu is the reason behind the rise in crimes on women in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan directly questioned Naidu whether he is not responsible for "no action taken".
YCP's spokesperson Vasireddy Padma too came down heavily on state government describing it as one of the worst state governments in the entire country. Politicizing the issue heavily, YCP lashed out at TDP and blamed it totally for the incident and tried to get 'political mileage' out of it.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is somewhat better than Jagan, YCP as his first reaction is he had demanded AP state government to support the victim and take stringent action against the culprit. Pawan has opined that public punishments should be ordered for such culprits.
On another hand, the government has been monitoring the situation. Cops have launched manhunt and are searching for the 50-yr-old Subbaiah. "Infuriated to hear about the rape of a 9-year-old girl in Dachepalli, Guntur district. Have instructed the IG and district SP to immediately take strict action against the culprit, and provide support to the victim's family," Chandrababu said.
