Thriller Director Became Horror For Producers
More than his comedy roles and love story films, one remembers him easily as 'thriller' director. We are talking about the multi-talented director of 'Anasuya' and 'Amaravathi', the tall Ravi Babu.
Boundless creativity and rich visuals are part of Ravi Babu's movies always. These are always costing a bomb to producer's pockets but not giving any hope of recovery from Box Office. Same fear is now engulfing the producers of his latest thriller movie 'Avunu'. Suresh Babu has produced this one, while another ace producer Bellamonda Suresh is distributing it. Many hurdles for selling and releasing this movie are showing horror to the makers.
Sources from Bellamkonda's office revealed that distributors at district level are not ready to give main theatres for this flick, as they are burning their hands with Ravibabu's movies these days. We have to see how Ravibabu will prove that he is 'homely' but not 'horror'.
