Comedian's Satire on Nag at MAA Awards

Akkineni Nagarjuna is known as the ladies man in the Industry. He maintained this romantic hero image for decades. Now the same image has caused him embarrassment in the presence of South India big wigs.

Star Comedian Ali who hosted the CineMAA Awards came up with a satire on the King. While welcoming actress Anjali Lavanya ('Panjaa' fame) for the dance performance to the raunchy number 'Veyra Chey Veyra...', the star comedian commented 'Nagarjuna Garu Ikkada Vundaga Manakistara Cheyi Vesey Avakasam'. The crowd went berserk and the guests were surprised to hear such things from one of the leading comedian in the Industry.

Of course, Anchor Suma who is co-hosting the show tried to do damage control by saying 'Nagaruna Garu Ippudu Baba (referring to his Sai Baba film)'. Ali immediately replied, the shooting of Sai Baba completed 2 months back, hinting that Nag is already back in the business of romancing the hotties.

Although Nag looked embarrassed initially with this unexpected comments, he has taken them sportively and also congratulated the comedian at the end of the show for making the event a grand success.
