People Like 'Alluri' Not 'Aparichitudu'
It will be really ridiculous to compare, freedom fighter and popular Telugu leader Alluri with a filmy character. But here we are talking about films Alluri Seetharamaraju and Aparichitudu that are aired on Telugu channels the other day, on the eve of Indian independence. While a couple of channels aired Aparichitudu, one channel has telecasted Bharateeyudu.
It is heard that TRPs of both these channels are very low when compared with 'Alluru Seetharamaraju' aired on another channel. Still it is the real Alluri, Telugu people like to watch, but not any other fiction characters.
I-Day and Republic Day has become a major test for Telugu channels to air films related to country and freedom. But people are ready to watch 'Alluri' even if he is aired numerous times.
