Monarch's Daughter Back As Heroine
The word monarch got popularized in Telugu Industry with Prakash Raj's popular dialogue 'Nenu Monarch ni' from Pawan Kalyan's Suswagatham. His onscreen daughter from that movie, Devayani is the woman we are talking about.
Apparently homely beauty Devayani left doing the roles of lead-girl after getting married to director Rajakumaran in 2001. Though she sizzled now and then in short roles and in TV serials, acting as a heroine again is never her choice. Her last appearance on Telugu silver screen is Mahesh Babu's 'Nani', where she played his mother's role.
Buzz has that she is acting as a teenage heroine in her husband's forthcoming flick, where her husband himself is playing the hero. The film is said to be a trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Insiders revealed that it is an art flick where Devayani will be doing a couple of romantic songs also.
