'Damarukam' Lands In Legal Soup

One more film has landed up in legal troubles at the time it is preparing guns for a release. This time it is Nagarjuna's much awaited socio fantasy flick 'Damarukam' and here goes the news.

According to reports, 'Damarukam' title is not owned by production house RR Makers but it belongs to a small time producer Naveen Kalyan. When this small producer brought that issue to FilmChamber's notice earlier, RR Makers promised for an out-of-court settlement but never lived up to it. Enraged with this, Naveen Kalyan now approached Chamber again saying that he had finished 60% of shooting for that flick way back in 2011 and demanded justice.

Sources revealed that RR Makers has made a deal with this producer for certain amount and the delay in financial proceeding is worrying him as the film is nearing release date. Otherwise why is he silent all these days?

Changing the title to something like 'Nagarjuna Damarukam' in the likes of 'Mahesh Khaleja' and 'Kalyanram Kathi' is quite easy, but RR still wants to pay that guy, it seems.
