A romantic tale, the story begins with the lives of Arun (Sidz) and Parvathi (Amala). This goes on a flashback mode projecting how both start off as friends, fall in love and eventually breakup too. While that is one side, Parvathi's parents Arvind, Saroja (Suresh, Surekha Vani) are on the verge of breakup and are heading for divorce. Arun after the breakup goes to Yanam with his friends for an event and begins to reflect upon the real cause for breakup and why his love failed. Did his love fail? Who was responsible for that? Can he ever get back Parvathi in his life? All this forms the rest of the story.
Siddharth suits the role to T and he has carried it out with elan. He is good at such youthful roles. Amala Paul spreads her charm with her smiles and eyes, she was nice. Suresh was elegant. Ravi Raghavendar was impressive. Surekha Vani was matured. Balaji was good, Shyam brought few smiles. The actors doing the role of Siddharth's friends were very nice.
2. Sidz-Amala screen chemistry
4. Technical values
5. Entertainment quotient
6. Background score
1. Drag in second half
2. Melodrama quotient
3. Slightly confusing narrative
The film marks the debut of Siddarth as the producer and it must be said that he was quite strategic in terms of budget, making and tapping the target audience. This film is meant for youth, college going audience and multiplex viewers. The interesting depiction of boy and girl psychologies and the humour that goes with it is appealing. As such, the storyline is ages old but it is all the packaging and the way it was capturing the attention of the audience which worked. At the box office, the film has it all to score success.
Verdict: Must watch, especially the youngsters!
