Khushboo's house attacked

Tamil actress-turned politician Khushboo’s house in Chennai was attacked on Thursday. Khushboo, who is a DMK leader, was allegedly attacked by her own fellow party leaders.

A group of around 15 people had targeted Khushboo's residence on Thursday morning and even pelted stones. However, a major incident was averted as she was not there at her residence when the incident took place. Nobody was injured in the incident and there were only some minor damages to the house.

This happened after Khushboo gave an interview to a local magazine stating that though DMK chief M. Karunanidhi had proposed Stalin's name as the next head, his elevation would happen only after when the general council votes and takes a decision because it is a democratic party.

This has reportedly hurt the staunch followers of Stalin and provoked them to attack.
