Jagan Will Trouble Chennai IPL Team?
Already the IPL team, Chennai Super Kings, are in big trouble with their CEO Gurunatha Meiyippan arrested in connection with spot fixing and betting, while his father-in-law, BCCI chief Srinivasan is putting dark spot on Indian cricket by his resignation dramas. It looks like YS Jagan will add to the woes now.
If we have to go by CBI investigation, the agency will be soon lashing its whip at India Cements owned by Srinivasan. Already CBI exposed anomalies done by Dalmiya Cements and their counter investments in Jagan's firms as a quid pro quo. And their next charge sheet will be focusing on India Cements that allegedly got permissions to utilize Andhra waters and which in turn invested in Jagathi publications and Bharati cements. If something is find out, and then the already troubled Srinivasan and his company will pay the price. Looking at all these developments, maybe we can expect the withering of Chennai IPL team from next year's cricket-show.
CBI filed four charge sheets in Jagan's cases already and it is heard that by second week of June they are going to file two more chargesheets. If at all charge sheet related to India Cements is brought into picture, then Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah might be facing the music too.
