TDP dares YSR party against its merger
TDP on Tuesday dared the YSR Congress party to make promise that the party will not merge with Congress after 2014 general election.
Party senior leader Y Ramakrishnudu said a in statement that YSR party was changing its colours like a 'Chameleon' to gain political advantage on the bifurcation of state issue. "Was it not true the party took a decision in favour of Telnagana at its plenary and the same was campaigned by party honorary President YS Vijayamma in Parakala by- election ? Was it false that Vijayamma made statement that former Chief minister and her husband YS Rajasekhara Reddy sent a delegation to New Delhi in favour of Telangana and her son and party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy not against Telangana by holding Bible in her hand ?"
Alleging that YSR party shifted its base to Seemandhra after it lost Panchayat Raj election in Telangana, he said YSR party and Congress conspired to defeat TDP. The true colours of Vijayamma, Jagan's wife Bharathi and Sharmila will be exposed if their phones are tapped, he added.
Series of letters written to President, Prime Minister and union Home ministry on the state division had clearly shown the weakening of YSR party in both regions and its desperate attempts to defeat the TDP in the next election.
Ramakrishnudu said nexus between Congress and YSR party also came to light with both the parties targeted TDP and its President N Chandrababu Naidu.
