Chiru's close aide blasts Union ministers
Congress minister Ganta
Srinivas Rao came down heavily on the Seemandhra union ministers who on
Saturday described the demand for resignations as just media creation.
"It's not right on the path of Union Ministers and MPs to blame media to
avoid resigning to their posts. There is no truth in the accusation
that resignation demand is a media creation. Leaders have to get ready
to face the worst if people's movement is being insulted," warned the
minister, who also revealed CM Kiran has conveyed to him that all of the
Seemandhra Congress leaders were ready for mass resignations if
While addressing the media after their first ever meeting in Hyderabad over the bifurcation issue, Seemandhra Union Ministers and MPs claimed they are ready for any sacrifice to safeguard the interests of the people of their region. They went on to say neither the Seemandhra people nor JACs have been demanding their resignations, it's only the media which is encouraging such cooked-up stories.
It's ample clear that Union Ministers are in no mood to resign as of now and they are only hopeful of receiving a favorable statement from centre in the near future.
