S-Heat! Loksatta JP Halts His Yaatra
Unable to withstand the Seemandhra-Heat and people who are protesting against his unclear theory about 'unity of Telugu people', Loksatta president Jayaprakash Narayan has finally halted his 'Telugu Tejam' yaatra in the middle.
The other day it happened at Kurnool and today it is at Anantapur. Loksatta president and Kukatpally MLA JP is facing music from Samaikyandhra seekers as the former-IAS is not giving any clarity over his party's stand about bifurcation. Seemandhra protestors who are demanding united Andhra Pradesh have obstructed JP today too and had even cut the power supply to his meeting. Even though JP took police escort to attend the meeting, protesters have even blocked police to convey their anguish. With nothing do, JP finally announced that he is halting Telugu Tejam yaatra, but added that he will surely do it in the near future.
Seemandhra protestors have cleared it that Jayaprakash Narayan would be allowed to continue his yaatra in the region only if he says okay for United Andhra Pradesh.
