One after the other, trouble and trolling is heaping on film producer and house mate of Big Boss 2 Telugu, Nutan Naidu. After being arrested at Udupi railway station in neighbouring Karnataka in connection with a case under the SC,ST Atrocities Act, now, there is a fresh case against him on charges of cheating people in the name of giving jobs.
Fresh reports say Naidu has been shifted from Anakapalli sub-jail to Visakha central jail after the cheating case came to light.
Nutan Naidu has been facing six different cases along with SC/ST atrocity case. Lawsuits were filed against him in Gajuwaka, Kancharapalem, Maharanipeta, Pendurthy and other police stations.
Two persons who lost nearly Rs 12 crore falling in Naidu’s trap of job guarantee approached the police and lodged a complaint. Nukaraju of Ravimakatam in Visakhapatnam district and Srikanth Reddy of Chevella in Telangana are friends. Nukaraju does CC camera business while Srikanth is a realtor.
During their transactions with various people, they got in touch with Nutan Naidu who promised that he would be able to get them the job of South India regional director post in SBI and that it would cost Rs 12 crore. Hoping to get a good job, Nukaraju paid Rs 5 lakh. However, even after waiting for two years, Naidu did not speak anything about the job. Sensing that they were cheated, the duo lodged a complaint with the Maharanipet police in Vizag city.
Police are also investigating if the complainants have that financial status to give money in a large amount to Naidu. Nutan Naidu has got many photographs clicked standing beside famous politicians and is known to be showing the same while trying to make others believe that he has good contacts and is an influential person in the political circles.
Police also booked a case against one Sasikanth who assisted Naidu in the cheating.
An SC, ST Atrocity case was filed against Naidu after a youth complained against him and his family stating that they thrashed and tonsured him on allegations of a robbing a cell phone. The video of Naidu’s wife, Madhu Priya, and some other persons assaulting and tonsuring the Dalit youth, Srikanth, went viral on social media.
Then, Naidu allegedly tried to impersonate former senior IAS officer P.V. Ramesh and made fake calls to doctors, including Andhra Medical College principal and KGH superintendent Dr P.V. Sudhakar, to save the accused, including his wife, from the case.
On the day, the tonsuring incident occurred, Naidu reportedly made two video calls to his wife from Hyderabad and abused Srikanth. The next day, after the case was filed, he tried to impersonate the IAS officer and called up Dr Sudhakar asking him to issue medical certificate to six of the seven arrested in the tonsuring case and refer his wife, Priya Madhuri, to the hospital citing health reasons.
Earlier, after becoming popular during the Big Boss show, Nutan Naidu said he was a big fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. At that time, there was buzz on social media that he would be offered a Jana Sena ticket, a party founded by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan. He also tried to ensure that he got some publicity as a wealthy man during his stay in the Big Boss house. He produced a film, Parannajeevi, which made mockery of controversial director Ram Gopal Varma. The lead role was played by Shakalaka Shankar.
