Municipal Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has made serious comments on Amaravati Agitation. As Amaravati farmers agitation turning 300 days and Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has given a call for protests across the state, Botsa Satyanarayana dubbed it as “success celebration for a flop movie”. He termed it as a “100 days function for a flop film”.
Botsa said only TDP leaders and “some paid artists” are talking about Amaravati movement. He said people of all the 13 districts have welcomed CM Jagan’s decision to have 3 capital cities for the state. Botsa said the decentralisation of capital has been welcomed by the people of the state. He said TDP leaders are only worried about their properties and value of their assets in Amaravati. He said people of other districts have not conducted any protests for Amaravati which indicates that they have approved the decentralisation of capital.
Accusing Chandrababu Naidu that he is trying to protect his “Benami assets”, Botsa said Naidu is conspiring against the three capitals.Botsa alleged that Naidu had spent Rs 5000 crore to show “graphic films” on Amaravati to people.
Talking about the hot topic where CM YS Jagan had complained to Chief Justice of Supreme Court SA Bobde against a senior Supreme Court judge and some AP High Court judges, Botsa defended CM Jagan saying that he has explained all the issues in detail in the letter. Botsa said everyone who respects Indian constitution should respond. However, Botsa denied to comment further. He said Ajeya Kallam, Adviser to AP government, has explained the views of the state government.
Giving development on the Vizag Metro project, Municipal Minister Botsa said Visakhapatnam Metro project DPR is getting ready and the office of Vizag Metro will be opened soon. He added that the state government is committed to the uniform development of the state.
