The actor is currently working on his next project, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and a yet-to-be-titled movie starring Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachan. Prabhas was the lead actor for the first Indian film to have 100 crore box-office break in just the initial ten days with Baahubali and it was the second highest-grossing Indian film till date. Prabhas’s full name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju and hailed from Bhimavaram. Prabhas is the youngest of the three children.

His favourite movie is that of his uncle, Krishnam Raju’s Bhakhta Kannappa which was released in the year 1976.

He is the first South Indian actor to have his wax statue made at Madame Tussauds, Bangkok.

His Bollywood debut was in Ajay Devgan’s movie, Action Jackson which was not more than a blink-and-miss kind of a performance.

He is a foodie and loves hosting lunch and dinner for his fellow actors at his guest house.

He has completed engineering and wanted to become a hotelier. It was later that he decided to try his hand at acting.

He did not sign up for any other movie for 4 years as he was working for Baahubali and even rejected an offer of 5.5Cr endorsement to completely focus on the period drama. The actor went as far as to gain 30kgs for the movie and even built a volleyball court at his house for practicing.
