Sonia Gandhi, who moved out of Delhi upon medical advice, is staying at Goa’s Leela Palace hotel ever since she landed in the city on Friday. Rahul Gandhi was accompanying his mother. Sonia, who is recovering from asthma and chronic chest infection, is spending quality time for herself. The latest is that she is spotted riding a cycle near the hotel. A video of Sonia riding cycle is going viral online. In the video, Sonia was seen normal and fit. As there are several speculations surrounding Sonia’s health, Sonia riding cycle became a hot topic. Congress leaders are relieved that their leader is recovering fast and she is healthy and hale in condition.
On July 30th this year, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi for an infection in the lower respiratory tract. She was discharged on August 2nd. Later in September, Sonia went abroad for a medical check-up. Since her discharge from August, Sonia is said to be under heavy medication. Doctors are concerned about Sonia’s consistent chest infection which has not gone due to Delhi’s pollution. As Air pollution levels in Delhi have shot-up recently added by Diwali season, Sonia has been advised to move out of Delhi amidst fear of aggravation of respiratory diseases and surging Covid cases in the national capital.
