Jayalalithaa's Driver Found Dead

Jayalalithaa's former driver was found dead. According to reports, he was killed in a road accident on Friday night at Attur in Salem district of Tamil Nadu. He has been identified as C Kanagaraj. He was 36-year-old. According to Attur police, Kanagaraj had gone to his village on Friday in a car. Later he rode a bike and went to see his relative during when he had met with the fatal accident."Kanagaraj consumed alcohol at the time of accident," cops said. They further said that he crossed the national highway to reach service road.

Attur police sent the body to Attur Government Hospital for postmortem. After inquiry, the police came to know that the deceased was Kanagaraj. The police registered a case under Section 279 (rash driving) and 304 (cause death by negligence) of IPC and detained car driver for investigation. This comes five days after a security guard at Jayalalithaa's Kodanand estate was hacked to death. 51-yr-old Om Bahadur was killed at Gate No. 10 of Kodanand estate by a gang of 10 who forcefully entered the premises and attacked the security guard Om and seriously injured another Krishna Bahadur.

Kanagaraj, who had left the Kodanad estate job in 2012, is one of the prime suspect in the killing of security guard at Kodanand estate. Cops are probing the issue. More details are yet to come.
