BP Acharya Sets Fire In TDP and YSR-CP
BP Acharya's latest interview before stepping into the jail again has triggered panic in political circuits. TDP and YSR Congress started analyzing the words of this A1 accused IAS officer in their own favor.
Acharya says, 'There are no nullified intentions and quid pro quo for me as I worked with complete faith as a public servant. I became a watch dog to government lands and took APIIC from 50 crores to 5000 crores. All agreements took place in 2002, 2003 and 2005, while BP Acharya joined the directors board only in December 2005'. Facts are twisted showing a reduction in equity, while Corporate affairs website still states that APIIC owns 26% share, claimed BP Acharya. 'I became a soft target in this political conspiracy. To blackmail me, those people have started taking revenge as I became hurdle for their illegal benefits', Acharya added.
TDP sleuths are stating that it is Jagan who got benefits through Emmaar and now that he wants to scout free they are making BP Acharya a scapegoat. YSR Congress is also coming strong on TDP by pointing fingers on Chandrababu, during whose regime the deal was initiated. Anyways, as an MD of APIIC and responsible bureaucrat, BP Acharya should have taken more care while dealing with entire Emmaar issue for five years in the past, rather crying now!
