For the last few weeks, there have been several rumours in political circles and a section of media that TDP will join hands with its arch rival Congress to fight Modi's BJP in the centre and YS Jagan in the state. The rumours caught on like wildfire ever since TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Congress' President Rahul Gandhi shared the same dais during Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy's swearing-in ceremony last month.
However, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy today trashed these rumours. "There is no truth in the news that TDP will join hands with Congress. TDP will never go for an alliance with Congress. If ever TDP joins hands with Congress, I'll hang myself," said KE Krishnamurthy.
The Deputy CM went on to say that the TDP-Congress alliance rumours is a work of fiction by the YSRCP and BJP leaders. He further prophesied that the YSRCP, BJP and Pawan Kalyan will bite the dust in the next general elections.
