He is an ex minister and even served as a finance minister in YSR's cabinet. While he remained in Congress and lost in 2014, he subsequently joined TDP along with his younger brother who was quite active. After his brother's death, the big brother is now said to be in deep dilemma over his next political step.
Well, we are talking about Nellore Reddy Anam Ramanarayana Reddy who is upset for the lack of recognition in the party and contemplating to quit TDP and join YCP.
However, what is stopping him is the lack of commitment from YCP on Atmakur seat. While Atmakur's sitting MLA Mekapati Goutham Reddy is also from YCP, naturally, this is getting a lot of resistance to Anam's entry into YSRCP.
At the same time, Anam Ramanarayan Reddy has been 'soft' unlike his 'aggressive' brother Viveka. This is also affecting his prospects. With the death of Viveka, Ramanarayan Reddy is losing hold on the district politics. On the other hand, Somireddy and Narayana from the district are playing active part in TDP which again hampering Reddy's political future.
Amidst this, Reddy is not able to decide his action plan. Many say Anam's brother Viveka is his right-hand man and after his death, Anam is now in dilemma whether to continue in TDP or to join YCP where he has no constituency.
