Ahead of BJP's national president Amit Shah's visit to Hyderabad tomorrow (Friday), the TRS is on high alert. The ruling party is apparently worried over the poaching from the Lotus party.
Whilst Amit Shah in the past had cancelled his visits to Hyderabad more than once, there had been speculations that TRS and BJP would have an understanding in polls. Even the recent meetings of KCR and KTR with Narendra Modi in Delhi have also added to those speculations. However, with nothing has worked out concretely, BJP is now seems to be making its moves in Telangana. Amit Shah said to have given instructions to state unit to woo the leaders from other parties, particularly from the ruling TRS.
Already, BJP's state leadership said to have identified several dissent TRS leaders, including from CM KCR's home turf Gajwel. BJP's state chief Laxman said to have spoken to many TRS leaders from key constituencies and wooed them to join BJP.
Alerted TRS said to be trying its best to keep its flock together. Although TRS doesn't see Amit Shah or BJP as a threat, the Pink Party is not ignoring the efforts of BJP to expand its base in the Telangana state.
