With fuel prices skyrocketing and becoming burden to common man, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has voluntarily come forward and cut the state excise duty on Petrol, Diesel to give relief to Aam Admi. And the same was announced in AP Assembly itself. Despite that it would be an additional burden of Rs 1120 Crore to AP state government that has is already troubled with a deficit budget, Naidu went ahead and proposed a cut of Rs 2 per litre on Petrol, Diesel.
However, Naidu's counterpart and Telangana CM KCR is yet to take a call on cut in the prices of fuel in the Telangana state that is flourishing with surplus budget.
As elections are fast coming in Telangana with the dissolution of the Legislative Assembly and expected to be held soon, delay in announcing the prices on fuel are also worrying his own party leaders who are expecting him to make the decision at the earliest.
On the other hand, Opposition leaders from Congress, TDP are founding fault with KCR for not cutting state excise duty on fuel and asking him to follow Naidu. It is learnt that even KCR is toying with the idea of reducing fuel prices in Telangana, but delay is what is causing worry. Will KCR follow Naidu's suit? KCR sir, any relief in Telangana?
