Naidu Not Sharing Party-Fund With Cadre

One by one, problems that spoiled the chances of Telugudesam in the recent by-polls are surfacing. It is heard that the party chief is not sharing the party-fund with cadre during the campaigning days.

With no power in hand from the last 9 years, it is really difficult for contestants to spend crores of rupees from pockets. Generally, one expects the parties to use their party-fund at that time. Telugudesam has not given much funds to its cadres working at base level in the recent by-polls, says a source. Sometimes, the party men felt difficult to buy even water packets when the sun is scorching them. It is for this poor campaigning from base workers, TDP failed to garner votes even in areas like Prattipadu and Macherla where traditional vote-banks are at large.

Insiders are saying that Naidu is not having enough money with him to share with the cadre. As his party is not in power for years, no industrialists and caste-based supporters are shedding money into Telugudesam's treasure trove.
