Minister's Wife Enters Tirumala With Slippers
Minister DL Ravindra Reddy's wife has insulted the sentiments of many Hindus by her unethical acts in Tirumala. DL, who is the staunch opponent of Kiran for all his doings, is not able to support the doings of his wife.
Minister DL's wife Subhadramma has walked all the way with slippers in the four streets of Tirumala till reaching the 'Maha Dwaram'. Though Minister is not wearing chappals, his wife has suppressed the rulings passed by TTD to not wear slippers in those streets. However, DL has issued an apology to the people for the acts of his wife. 'Unknowingly it happened that way, otherwise I don't fail to follow customs of temples. I'm feeling guilty for this mistake. Please accept apologies from me on behalf of my wife', said DL after coming out from Lord's darshan.
In the whole episode, why the TTD officials walking around minister failed to advice Subhadramma to remove her chappals is something to be noticed. As long as politicians do any mistake, it is acceptable for TTD it seems!
