Image Repair Mission For 'Andhra Anna'

After launching a stringent fight against corruption and promising a corruption free political party, Loksatta Jaya Prakash Narayana has won separate place for him. Moreover he is compared to Anna Hazare by many educationists and hence the 'Andhra Anna' title. But the Kukatpally legislator neglected his own constituency in the name of movements and here comes the image-repair mission.

Right from CM Kiran to Chandrababu, all are busy with their own style of tours and agitations to raise popularity in view of the coming general elections. However, it is only JP who is not in the news as he is not undertaking any program to reach voters. To beat the odds, he is now coming up with a program called 'Surajya', in the name of which he will take protests for the sake of good governance and transparent politics.

Like all our other politicians, JP is also now demanding for a special declaration. He wants to announce August 9th as 'Quit Corruption Day', the date that is famous in India as 'Quit India' day. Analysts say that all these movements JP is going to undertake are aiming at repairing his image, which is taking a tow these days.
