Hyderabadi student attacked in US

A Hyderabad resident, who's pursuing Masters in United States, has been shot in Chicago state. Going into the news, Mohammed Akbar, son of Mohammed Yusuf, is a resident of Annapurna Colony in Uppal. Akbar was gun-fired by an unknown person while he was striding towards his car in the parking area of Albany Park.

The 30-year old Akbar is pursuing Masters in Computer Systems Networking in Devry University in Chicago. As per the medical doctors who are treating him in a nearby hospital, Akbar's condition is critical and is fighting with death. As the bullet raced into Akbar's cheek, he has reportedly undergone two surgeries so far. The university officials, friends and faculty are taking care of his medical health in the hospital.

Worried about Akbar's health condition, his family members sought Telangana state government's assistance to fly America on emergency visa.

It's been less than a month Akbar flew to America to pursue higher studies and more details about the attack are yet to be found.
