Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night as he is not well. The news is confirmed by his elder brother Randhir Kapoor and he also rubbished the rumors that said Rishi Kapoor is on ventilator support.
Rishi Kapoor has been admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Though the exact reason for Rishi Kapoor’s hospitalization is not known, it is known that his wife Neetu Kapoor is with him. Rishi was diagnosed with cancer two years back and he stayed in New York for a long time getting treated.
When it was reported in media that Rishi got treated for cancer in New York, the actor never acknowledged the same nor he denied it. He just called it a ‘short leave of absence’ while he was going to the US because he needed medical treatment as it’s been 45 years plus of ‘wear and tear at the movies.
Neetu Kapoor stayed with him through the treatment time in the US, while his son-actor Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Riddhikma Kapoor Sahni, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Malaika Arora, Karan Johar, and Deepika Padukone paid him regular visits.
