Pop Singer Madonna announces of Corona antibodies; sparks debate

International pop singer Madonna has announced that she has tested positive of Corona antibodies. The 61-year-old singer made the announcement in her ‘quarantine diary’ series on Instagram.

This means having Corona virus antibodies provides evidence for a previous infection by the virus or a related virus. But there is a catch here as it is unclear if testing positive for Corona virus antibodies can provide immunity from getting infected again.

In the video Madonna said, “I took a test the other day, and I found out that I have the antibodies. So tomorrow I’m just going to go for a long drive in the car, I’m going to roll down the window and I’m going to breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yup. I hope the sun is shining.”

Madonna is currently residing in London and earlier she was criticized for calling ‘Corona Virus’ as the great equalizer but then she donated USD one million to Gates Philanthropy Partners’ COVID-19 Therapeutics Accelerator.
