IndVsAus: Funny Clash Leaves Umpire In Splits

If you are worried that Border-Gavaskar test series between India and Australia is majorly war of words besides cricket, the first day of third match is here which has left the on-field umpire Ian Gould in splits.

The off-field verbal clash between between team India, captain Virat Kohli and Aussie coach, skipper Steve Smith has been in news since the start of this series. But today, when Indian wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha attempted to depart Steve Smith by immediately taking the ball out of captain's pads, the ground was full of laughs- including the umpire Ian.

Since the incident resulted in a funny collision of two players, there was a kind of easy atmosphere among the fans, players on the field. The incident happened when spinner Ravindra Jadeja has bowled third delivery of 80th over. However, the umpire Ian Gould called it a dead ball.



Having won the toss on Thursday morning, Australian captain Smitch chose to bat first and by end of the day, they scored 299 for 4. For the first wicket partnership, Glenn Maxwell and Smith scored 159 runs and they are expecting to turn it into a high score innings.
