When a bubbly Anushka Sharma made her acting debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' about a decade ago, not many might have predicted that being a nobody, she would reach the top league so soon.
Anushka is now one of the top actresses who has worked with all top actors and most of the top directors. She has box office success as well as accolades in her kitty. Whatmore, she has even become a producer and is delivering some off-beat films. All this wouldn't have been possible if she had not got inspired from Kareena Kapoor.
While promoting her new film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', a film directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, Anushka divulged that it was the unforgettable character of 'Geet' played by Kareena Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali's "Jab We Met" that attracted her to the world of cinema.
"The character written by Imtiaz Ali and played by Kareena was so lively, lovable and inspiring that I decided to become an actor myself," Anushka revealed.
After learning this, Anushka's fans as well as Team India skipper Virat Kohli will be thankful to both Imtiaz and Kareena.
'Jab Harry Met Sejal' is the third collaboration between Anushka and Shah Rukh Khan after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film is slated for August 4 release.
