Rana Daggubati is the leading actor in Virata parvam, which is being directed by Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame. Well, Rana is not the first hero who was approached for the role in this film.
The director has revealed that he first approached Gopichand for the role. Though the actor liked the script, he couldn’t be part of it as he already has commitments and has a couple of scripts in his kitty. Only then, the director approached Suresh Productions and Rana Daggubati, who have said yes to be part of the film.
Keeping in mind the craze that Virata Parvam has garnered till now, one can say that Gopichand has lost a good film from his plate. But at the same time, he has been experiencing back to back flops at the box office and that image could put a negative impact on the film as well.
Also, Venu Udugula, wanted to rope in Sai Pallavi for his first film itself. But the actress was busy back then. So he made sure he roped in her for this films at least.
Shoot of Virata Parvam is yet to be completed. 10 per cent of the film from the sets is remaining.
