Deepika Padukone Launches Her Own Brand Now

Most celebrities in Hollywood often turn around their fame into business by launching their own-label brands. Kim Kardashian has beauty brands, Shakira got perfumes, and Rihanna and Lady Gaga have makeup products launched. Even in India, we have the likes of Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the clothing and apparel business. And many star heroines are also following suite.

Like Katrina Kaif, Sunny Leone and Priyanka Chopra who have ventured into launching their own cosmetic, skin and haircare brands, now star heroine Deepika Padukone also launched her own lineup for which she is said to be trying hard from the last two years. “The joy of building something ground up is truly second to none! After 2 years of relentless effort, I am proud to finally present 82E”, says Deepika Padukone, as she launched her own self-care brand, which is most of skin care products, and announced the same via video on her social media pages.

But with Deepika Padukone being the brand ambassador of international beauty brands like Garnier, and Loreal Paris, one wonders if she would no more endorse those brands. From the south, we have the likes of Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah starting jewellery brands that never clicked, while Samantha ventured into the clothing brand, Saaki, whose success rate is not known.

On the other hand, the Ashwagandhi moisturiser launched by Deepika’s 82E costs ₹2700 which is not so within the reach of middle-class folks.
