The actors, along with the directors of Citadel India, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., also known as Raj & DK, shared their excitement on Instagram. Varun Dhawan expressed his joy and honor in meeting the President, while Samantha and the Citadel India team were dressed in formal attire for the occasion.
The Citadel India team is currently in Serbia for a leg of the series shoot. Varun had previously confirmed the schedule and mentioned that the series is going to be a game-changer, unlike anything seen before in India. Samantha and Varun attended the global premiere of Citadel in London, alongside Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, and Leslie Manville.
Citadel India is a spin-off of the original Citadel series, produced by Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Raj & DK are producing the Indian adaptation, which promises to be a unique and ambitious project. Notably, veteran actor Anupam Kher has also been confirmed as part of the cast for the Indian chapter of Citadel. The series is being produced by the Russo Brothers, known for their work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
