Sai Kumar's Father PJ Sharma No More

Veteran actor-dubbing artiste Pudipeddi Jogeswara Sarma, popularly known as PJ Sharma, passed away on Sunday morning. Sharma breathed his last due to cardiac arrest on Sunday at around 7.30 AM at their residence in Manikonda. He was last seen in his grandson-hero Aadi's wedding reception on Saturday evening. Sharma is survived by three sons Sai Kumar, Ravi Shankar (Arundhati fame) and Ayyappa Sharma. Sharma's final rites will be held on Sunday at 3 PM at Erragadda Burial Ground.

At a time when whole family was in jubilation as Aadi tied the knot with Aruna in the wee hours of Saturday, the irreparable loss to Sai Kumar's family occurred on Sunday. With this family's close-relatives, friends and several celebrities who came to wish the new couple stayed there and now consoling the bereaved family.

PJ Sharma kick started his career as a stage artiste at the age of 12. He acted in several plays, dramas before foraying into films. He had worked for over 500 films as an actor and 1000 films as dubbing artiste. Sharma also tested his hand at writing. He was starred in several successful Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Especially his role in Pawan Kalyan's Tholi Prema as heroine Keerthi Reddy's grandfather received applause. His other prominent films include Collector Janaki, Erramallelu, Tukaram, Talliprema, Dana Veera Sura Karna. He shared screen space with the likes of Shivaji Ganesan, Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.

Pudipeddi family is popular for their dubbing works. After PJ Sharma, his sons Sai Kumar and Ravi Shankar carried forward their father's legacy into dubbing and subsequently proved their mettle in acting. expresses heartfelt condolences to Saikumar's family. May his soul rest in peace.
