Remakes Are Not Easy: Jr Venky

Child actor-turned-hero Naga Anvesh is bundle of nerves as his maiden movie Vinavayya Ramayya is all set for release. The regional Censor Board has cleared the film and passed it with U/A certificate thus clearing the way for the movie release on June 19. Billed to be an official remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Manam Kothi Paravai', Anvesh is reprising the role of Siva Karthikeyan played in the original.

Talking about the comparisons between remake and the original, Anvesh shared, 'I've watched the original over 40 times and observed the nuances of Siva Karthikeyan. Since it's a remake and the story was already proved by delivering success, story-wise, it's like a safe bet. But there will be expectations from audiences and comparisons exist that how better we made the remake. Also as a lead protagonist, pressure lies on me whether I could do justice to the original movie or not.'

However, minor yet important changes have been made to the script to suit the local audiences. 'Only very few changes were made in the script. But the soul of the movie has been retained. The movie shaped up well,' said Anvesh who is eagerly looking forward to the film's release.
