A 'Good Friday' For Box-office

Yesterday, two promising films named Manamantha and Srirastu Subhamastu released and got favourable reviews from critics and audiences alike. While the multiplex audiences and A center crowds lapped up Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Manamantha, Srirastu Subhamastu did particularly good in B, C centers, thanks to the entertainment factor.

According to the trade reports, Srirastu Subhamastu collected nearly 3.50 crores worldwide gross on its opening day. A majority of these collections were pooled in from Nizam and several interior territories of the two Telugu states. With Megastar Chiranjeevi himself promoting the film, Mega fans owned the Srirastu Subhamastu big-time.

On the other hand, Manamantha, which released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, collected decent 4 crore worldwide gross. Mohanlal's presence and Chandrasekhar Yeleti factor has worked in the film's favor apart from the heartwarming emotional drama.

Trade circles are predicting that both the films will witness a steady run at the box-office over the weekend and the real test of strength will start from the coming Monday.
