Day by day, we have to say that mega heroes trying to test their luck with the remix version of Megastar Chiranjeevi's super hit are simply spoiling those classics. Already Ram Charan remixed three yesteryear super hits of Chiru, while mega menalludu Sai Dharam just beat his cousin by doing the fourth song now. But, enough!!
Ram Charan has earlier come up with remix versions of Bangaru Kodipetta (Gharana Mogudu), Vaana Vaana (Gangleader) and Subhaleka Rasukunna (Kondaveeti Donga) for Magadheera, Rachha and Naayak.
Then we have Sai Dharam taking up remix bug in first film itself where he danced to Golimaar from Donga movie. Later he took Guvva Gorinkatho (Khaidi No 786) and Andham Hindolam (Yamudiki Mogudu) songs for his Subramanyam For Sale and Supreme respectively.
Needless to say, these songs have well-choreographed dances and both Charan, Sai Dharam did their part quite well. But when it comes to reproducing such iconic songs, the remixed music and vocals of new singers aren't sounding any impressive. For example, let's take Chamak Chamak song of Kondaveeti Donga that is remixed for Inttelligent now, there is no chemistry, romantic feeling and vigour in the latest vocals when compared to the original. While SP Balu and Chitra poured their heart into that vintage chartbuster, vocals lent by SP Charan and Harini are in that energetic tone. Maybe composer Thaman who remixed the song should be blamed for that, isn't it?
Moreover, while the mega heroes are able to come up with interesting dance steps by mimicking the old and adding few new moves, somehow they are failing to recreate that Megastar types of grace, charm and mysticism. Probably its high time to stop spoiling these classics and leave them intact. What say, folks?
