"As of now, I'm not doing any remakes movies. My next film's pre-production is going on. Cast and crew are not finalised yet" posted Raj Tarun on his social media page, putting rumours about one particular movie to rest. And insiders say, there is another dimension to it.
The remake in the talk is nothing but "Nanum Rowdy Dhaan" movie, whose dubbed version already released but didn't work. Actually, Raj Tarun is said to have shown a massive interest in this movie, but people around him have polluted his mind, a rumour says. But why?
In the original, the lead actor Vijay Sethupathi already has a mass image and still, the film's total credit went to Nayantara for her portrayal as a hearing-impaired girl. That role is like even Ram Charan's Chitti Babu character from Rangasthalam is a bit borrowed from Nayan's character only. For that reason, some well-wishers are said to have advised Raj Tarun to not take up the film as the heroine is likely to walk with honours.
Whether there is an iota of truth in these rumours or not, Raj Tarun is currently in dire need of a hit. Most of his latest flicks including Rajugadu has bombed big time at the box office. His next release will be 'Lover' directed by Aneesh Krishna of Ala Ela fame.
