Today, the whole of South got a shocker when the trailer of 'KGF' got unveiled. Featuring Kannada hero Yash in the lead, the film's rugged look and Kollar Mines backdrop are truly intriguing. That said, it reminds Telugu audience about a Telugu film.
Illegal exploiting of mines and killing the locals for their own benefits is a tried and tested formula in many Telugu films. But look at KGF trailer reminds us of Rana Daggubati and Krish's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, which has a similar rugged backdrop.
While Krish kept away from the high voltage action sequences and terrific upscale graphics, looks like Kannada director Prashanth Neel gave a touch of Hollywood like an extravagance to it. And the success of the film depends on how every single character is crafted into the story while narrating the story in an interesting note.
Expecting that the film will do well in Telugu as well, now KGF makers are planning to release the movie directly with the Kannada version rather than selling remake rights to someone.
