Meet The New Capt.America; #NotMyCap Trends

Captain America is the one Avenger who is there simply to do good. He is the actual exciting hero to many out there and people consider him as a national treasure who helped America to win WWII. While other avengers have various motivations, Steve Rogers is not driven by testosterone, ego, arrogance, guilt, anger, fear, or self-interest. He just wants to do what is right. His absolutism creates drama, conflict, and story.

But, the internet is sad and angry after watching the ending episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. While fans swear by Captain America’s superior stamina, his unique acrobatic combat style, and his relationship with his indestructible shield, they are also deeply connected with Chris Evans. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s six-episode web series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier which was released online had scenes showing Sam handing over Capt. America’s shield to the government as he felt he is unworthy to carry on his legacy.

The series from Marvel is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar and the journey will unfold after Falcon receives the Captain America shield from superhero retiree Steve Rogers. But the thing that irked the audience is when the government goes on to appoint a new Captain America named John Walker played by Wyatt Russell. Viewers have instantly rejected the new Captain America and also shared funny memes with a viral hashtag that says, ‘#NotMyCap.’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has been directed by Kari Skogland and the chief writer is Malcolm Spellman.
