Skyscrapers With 40-Plus Floors To Dot Hyderabad Skyline

Hyderabad’s skyline would witness new heights in the near future what with builders planning to go for skyscrapers having 40+ floors. Many projects have been lined up along the I-T corridor in the next 4-5 years and some builders are vying to bag the tag of “tallest building in the city” for their ventures.

However, civic officials said that only a few were given the nod to go ahead with the huge projects. Just a month ago, Sumadhura Group of Bengaluru got the green signal to build its 44-storey residential venture, Sumadhura Olympus, in Cyberabad and is expected to be ready by 2025. Once complete, it will replace Hyderabad-based Rajapushpa Properties ‘Provincia’ in Narsingi, which has G+39 floors. Provincia is underway and the authorities claim that many of the top floors have already been sold, despite quoting a base price of Rs 6,459 per sft.

Rajapushpa executives informed that the demand for top floors, especially beyond the 30th floor, is very high and that they were going for more height only to have ample space around the project.

Candeur Constructions of Bengaluru has also planned for ‘Candeur 40’ in Miyapur with 40 floors just to grab the attention of the buyers in the city but in their hometown, they confined themselves to 24 floors. The Hyderabad project by Candeur is likely to be completed by 2024. The representatives of this firm said that people are showing interest in buying bigger spaces in tall buildings these days.

Going beyond the 40-floor mark, SAS Infra is learnt to be planning for a 57-floor residential complex in the city which will certainly be called the tallest housing project in South India. At present, SAS Infra is constructing a 36-floor ‘iTower’ at Nanakramguda, touted to be the tallest commercial project so far.

Significantly, many of these high rises would come up in the western area of Hyderabad and on an average, the 40+storeyed buildings are being priced between Rs 6,500 and Rs 7,000 a square foot.
