Unfazed by the reports of low buzz for Mahesh Babu's milestone 25th film Maharshi, director Vamshi Paidipally and Maharshi team have opted for low-hype strategy a la Srimanthudu. Even before the release of Srimanthudu, the expectations were bring down by the makers then. Particularly director Koratala Siva had put in extra effort then and had made a simple trailer and had set right expectations on the film. It brilliantly worked for the film which had created a non-Baahubali record. This is after Aagadu which failed due to high expectations and poor content.
Now, it is learnt is that the makers of Maharshi are also adopting a strategy similar to that of Srimanthudu. Apparently it is a conscious move by Maharshi team to follow this low-hype strategy in order to "awe" the audiences with its content at the end.
Inside buzz is that the trailer of Maharshi will speak and the makers are confident that it will set right expectations on the movie. Talk is that team Maharshi has planned for an aggressive promotional strategy as soon as the film's trailer is out. If this strategy works again, Mahesh proves to be the star of strategies.
